When Bob Durkis started witnessing close calls on I-285 at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard due to a misaligned exit ramp sign, he knew he needed to take action. Possibly because of his background as a former Miami-Dade Sheriff's Department accident investigator. Whatever the reason, Bob sent two emails. One to the Georgia D.O.T. and the other to 11Alive. We responded quickly because we were familiar with this location. In fact, just a few months prior, we helped resolve a similar sign issue.
