Marcus Ventress is accused of fatally shooting Ryan Guider during a robbery of his home.
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- DeKalb County Police are looking for a man accused of shooting and killing another man who was robbing his home.
Marcus Ventress, 28, fatally shot Ryan Guider on May 26, according to DeKalb Police spokesperson Sgt. Adrion Bell.
Police say Ventress killed Guider for breaking into Ventress' home to steal jewelry, cash and drugs. Guider also reportedly punched Ventress' mother during the robbery.
Bell said Ventress is also accused of firing a gun into an apartment on Treecrest Parkway; he reportedly believed that Guider lived in the apartment.
Investigators described Ventress as a black man, about 5-feet-10-inches tall and 145 pounds. They say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
