(BARROW COUNTY) -- Barrow County Sheriff's Office Crime Task Force have arrested seven people after two separate drug raids on Wednesday and Friday.
According the the Sheriff's office, the first drug bust happened in Winder on Wednesday, July 25. Sheriff's Officials arrested Don J. Newton and Laurie Blaes, of 166 North Fifth Avenue, and charged both with trafficking in methamphetamines.
Officials said the found about one quarter of a pound methamphetamines and over $26,000 in cash.
On Friday, July 27, Officials arrested five people at 755 Ridgeside Road in Bethlehem. Officials said they found methamphetamines, marijuana and drug paraphernalia throughout the residence.
They arrested and charged Henry Dewayne Aikens, Timothy Lee Mize and Sandra Hope Hinkson with posession of methamphetamines with intent to distribute. They arrested and charged Alan Conn and Courtney Renee Patterson with posession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
