NEWARK, Del. (AP) -- Delaware State Police have arrested three suspects, including a Georgia man, in the robbery and killing of a 7-Eleven store employee in Newark.
Twenty-five-year-old Andre D. Palmer of Fairburn, Ga., and 25-year-old Vanisha D. Carson of New Castle were arrested late Wednesday after investigators linked the store killing earlier that day to a robbery at the Interstate 95 service plaza in Newark on Tuesday. A description of a vehicle in the service center robbery led investigators to an apartment next to the 7-Eleven, where Palmer and Carson were arrested.
The third suspect, 21-year-old Vincent Stallings of Wilmington, was arrested early Thursday. Investigators say Stallings fired the shot that killed 48-year-old Mohammed Rafique Ullah.
All three suspects are charged with first-degree murder, robbery, conspiracy and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
