ATLANTA -- Police say a man was shot in the foot early Tuesday when a stray bullet entered his apartment.
It happened shortly after midnight at an address on Richmond Circle SE in southeast Atlanta.
The wounded man was not the intended target. Police say someone drove by in a vehicle and fired a shot at a man outside on the street.
The man on the street was not hit, but the shot pierced the building and hit the occupant in the foot. He was transported to Grady Hospital for treatment.
A witness told officers the shot was fired from a gray Chevrolet Impala.
