ATLANTA -- The Fulton County School board held its first public hearing on the closing of three schools last night.
School board members voted to close the schools in January due to their aging conditions.
Three elementary schools, Mount Olive, Oak Knoll, and Harriet Tubman, are scheduled to close by the end of the 2016 school year.
The schools will be replaced by two new schools.
The final hearing is February 21st.
