WASHINGTON (AP) - The Food and Drug Administration is gathering facts about a vending machine at a Pennsylvania college that dispenses the "morning-after" pill.
The machine is at the health center at Shippenburg University. The Plan B One Step emergency contraceptive can prevent pregnancy if taken soon after sexual intercourse.
According to TIME Magazine, each pack costs students $25 and Shippenburg students purchase, an average of, one pack per day.
It's legally available without a prescription to students who are, at least, 17-years-old. However, it must be kept behind the pharmacy counter.
