Man arrested after not paying for Girl Scout cookies

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- A Columbus man who allegedly got 144 boxes of Girl Scout cookies worth $504 on April 1, 2011 but never paid for them, was arrested this week and charged with felony theft, the Ledger-Enquirer reports.

Michael La'Don Cobb, 21, is charged with felony theft because the items stolen exceed $500 in value, the paper reports.
