The coldest air of the season by far will be entering the state later tonight and will plunge us into the mid to lower 20's across most of the area by tomorrow morning! This is all part of the recent pattern change as the jet stream has re-configured and tapped into some very cold Canadian air! We will see temps for the next 2 days well below the average of 53! Lows will be in the upper teens and lower 20's across most of N Georgia the next few days... Wind chills tomorrow morning will be in the teens!
For the rest of the week we will see a gradual warming trend as warm southerly winds will return to the region. By the time we get to Thursday we will see temps back into the mid and upper 50's. Just as soon as we warm up again the chance of rain will come back to the area with a 40% chance for more rain on Friday.... After the rain passes we will get another shot of colder air on Saturday.
