Tonight - Tomorrow
Complex scenario shaping up for tonight and tomorrow morning across all of N Georgia as there is the potential for some freezing rain. As of right now arctic air is spilling in from the north and will begin to wedge against the mountains to the NE. At the same time warm moist air will spill in from the gulf of Mexico and lift up and over the shallow cold air from Canada. Overnight we will see the skies cloud up and light drizzle start to fall across a large portion of the area. The best chance of seeing some accumulation sleet and ice will be to the north of the metro area, but Atlanta has the chance of seeing by the morning rush.
I will have continual updates here on 11alive.com, the blog, twitter, and my facebook page.
On a scale of 1-10 I am giving this a 5 at this point in time.....
