Another round of rain moves in Sunday. On the backside of this system, some snow will mix in later Sunday evening. We will continue to monitor this for potential accumulations.
Then...... Monday and arctic air mass that we have not seen the likes of in over 10 years will move in. It will start on Sunday with a very cold rain, then there could be a brief changeover to light snow late Sunday night / early Monday morning. Then the coldest air we have seen in over a decade will be moving in. Temps by Tuesday morning will be in the single digits for most of the entire Atlanta metro area with some of the northern counties getting below zero. Highs might not get above the freezing mark from late Sunday night through Wednesday afternoon.
