Tracy Humphrey delivers your weekend forecast each Saturday and Sunday morning.
Tracy also is part of the Atlanta Alive team Monday through Wednesday.
No stranger to the south, Tracy was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. She is a huge college football fan, having graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science and she also holds a Masters in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University.
From lake effect snow storms, wildfires, hurricanes to flash floods, she's seen it all and loved every minute of it. It all started in Savannah, Georgia as the weekday weather anchor for WJCL. Afterwards, she worked for WTVH in Syracuse, NY as the weekend weather anchor and weekday weather reporter.
In 2001, Humphrey then moved to WKBW in Buffalo, NY as the weekday morning weather anchor.
While working in Buffalo, NY, Tracy performed a bungee jump during the station's morning newscast. It was the bungee jump that caught the eye of the news director at WPHL-TV in Philadelphia.
Before moving closer to home, Tracy worked for our sister station in Sacramento, California at KXTV as the weekend morning meteorologist and before that she forecasted weather for San Francisco, CA at KPIX. Tracy worked four years as the weekend weather anchor for WNYW, the Fox affiliate in New York City.
It's her passion for forecasting and live reporting that has led her to an exciting career. Tracy loves to tell the weather story in an engaging and fun way!
