While visiting her hometown school, Chestnut Elementary, the 14-year-old star of “A Wrinkle In Time” got a surprise from one of her favorite Georgia-owned restaurants.

11Alive’s Crash Clark sat down with Atlanta-native Storm Reid about filming the latest visually stunning movie. Reid talked about working with Oprah, coming back to Chestnut Elementary, and what she misses most about Atlanta.

One thing she missed was Waffle House.

Crash Clark even surprised her with a to-go order and to say she was thrilled is an understatement.

“A Wrinkle in Time” takes you on a fantastic journey across the universe. It follows Meg Murry and her little brother, Charles Wallace, as they search for their missing father who discovered a new planet and used the concept known as a tesseract to travel there. They are joined by Meg's classmate Calvin O'Keefe and guided by the three mysterious astral travelers known as Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which.
