ATLANTA - An Atlanta native is giving back to the city and community who shaped his life.

Brandon '2 MILL' Thaxton is an American film director, film producer, actor, and entrepreneur. His career began in 2006 within Visual and Performing Arts Magnet at the Tri-Cities High School where he contributed to leading roles in various school productions.

During high school, Thaxton’s most notable appearance was in the film Diary of a Mad Black Woman.

In 2012, Thaxton created his own business Acting Up, LLC and became a co-founder with Errol Sadler for Supremacy Films in 2013.

Acting Up is an acting program that helps aspiring artists take their craft to the next level. One of the child actors Thaxton has worked with had a role in the recent horror film, IT.

His directorial work includes his latest movie release Curveball in 2015 which featured Rockmond Dunbar and Lynn Whitfield. He was also the director and producer for The Fuller View Television Show that aired in 2014 and 2015. Thaxton was also the director of Horror Hotel (2013) and Eros (2011).
