Even Batman cannot escape the Ice Bucket Challenge. Ben Affleck — who plays the Caped Crusader in next year's "Batman v Superman" movie— has accepted the challenge from filmmaker Tyler Perry.

In a video posted Monday night on Facebook, Affleck stands before a pool, and with a grin on his face, calls out "folks who I know, from firsthand experience, look good in a wet T-shirt": Jimmy Kimmel, Neil Patrick Harris, Matt Damon and "the lady with the bucket."

And with that, the aforementioned lady — Affleck's wife, Jennifer Garner — dumps a bucket of ice water on her husband. Affleck screams, grabs his wife and ... splash! The pair tumbles into the pool. It doesn't get much cuter than that!

Jimmy Kimmel, host of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" has already responded in his own unique way. (He had bags of ice poured down a pair of fishing waders he wore.) But no response yet from Damon or Harris.

As for Affleck, he'll be donating to the cause (the ALS Association) as well. Between July 29 and Aug. 18, $15.6 million was raised for ALS research.
