The long-rumored update of the animated series Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego -- based on the computer game Where In The World is Carmen Sandiego and accompanying PBS game show ("Do it, Rockapella..."), is expected in 2019.

According to Netflix, the new series will include 20, 22-minute-long animated episodes and feature Rodriguez as Carmen and Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things as Player, Carmen's chief accomplice and friend. The new series will follow her adventures and allow us to learn exactly who in the world Carmen Sandiego is as well as why she became the thief we know her as.
