Marvel Studios announced this week that production for the next motion picture in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ant-Man and The Wasp is now underway.
Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Peña and Academy Award winner Michael Douglas, who all return to the roles from the original 2015 Marvel hit Ant-Man. Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip “T.I.” Harris and David Dastmalchian also reprise their supporting roles from the film.
Ant-Man and The Wasp opens in theaters on July 6, 2018.

In the aftermath of 2016's Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.
Along with overall production on the new film getting underway, a number of casting calls are starting to show up for various scenes being produced in and around metro Atlanta. The code name for the production is "Cherry Blue," and the yellow production signs being used for the production have the code "CB" on them.
