ATLANTA – He’s a rapper, songwriter, actor, businessman, philanthropist, but for rapper Ludacris - his first title is “mama’s boy”.

The Fast and Furious star pulled an amazing stunt for one of the most important women in his life for Mother’s Day.

Ludacris renovated his mother Roberta’s Atlanta home. The project is featured in the latest episode of My Houzz, a series that highlights celebrities surprising a close family member with a home renovation.

The labor of love was an easy gesture for the star. Ludacris credits his mother for his work ethic and success.

“That’s why I’m where I am and who I am today,” Ludacris said.

Roberta retired years ago and moved into the first house Ludacris bought when his career made him a multi-millionaire and household name.

Since then, Ludacris wanted his mom to feel at home on her own. So, he partnered with Rachel Oliver to help turn her dream into a reality.

The team ripped out old appliances and cabinets and added new furniture to the space. The before and after photos showcase a cozier look.
