The Cleveland Cavaliers unveiled their two new Nike uniforms for the upcoming season on Monday but, of course, social media found something a little off about them.
The new uniforms feature a white set, named the Association edition, and the familiar wine red one named the Icon edition.
Yes, the uniforms are nice but the people of the internet pointed out something both funny and unnecessary about the video featuring the Cavs' newest sportswear.
why do the new Cavs jerseys look like they're about to drop the most fire Single Ladies dance video of 2017 pic.twitter.com/0sJTDu4nYo— sreekar (@sreekyshooter) August 7, 2017
Yeah, the mannequins that the uniforms were displayed on had a slightly Beyonce-esque posture that social media pointed out very quickly.
cavs are really gonna act like this whole kyrie situation isn't happening & put his jersey in a pic where he looks like a sassy ghost pic.twitter.com/NNChJMyMoz— lindsey (@Lindzeta) August 8, 2017
Regardless of that and regardless of the fact that the new promo for the uniforms included Kyrie Irvings number, even though he's going to be leaving, it seems that the majority of people are embracing the new jerseys.
