Troup County Sheriff welcomes newest explosive detection K-9

Congrats to Stella!

TROUP COUNTY, Ga. – The Troup County Sheriff’s Office welcomed the newest member to their team: Stella.

Stella is a 2-year-old chocolate lab who recently completed five weeks of training certifying her and her handler, Deputy Adam Richardson, as an Explosive Detection K-9 team.

Troup County said the duo will not only serve the county but also assist other ED teams around the state should the need arise.
