The Scream Machine debuted in 1973 as the longest, fastest, and tallest wooden roller coaster in the world.

The 45th anniversary of the coaster will feature a 105-foot drop backward with speeds of 57 miles-per-hour backward and more than 3,800 feet of track all while facing backward.

Hurry to the park because it's only running backward for a limited time only!

Kicking off its 51st season on March 10, Six Flags will be open on weekends for the 2018 season through mid-May. For Spring Break, the park will be open daily March 31 through April 8.
