ATLANTA — Five Atlantan's had the luck of the Irish on their side the past several days, after they earned a combined $170,000 in lottery winnings.
Three people won $50,000 each in the March 10 Powerball drawing. Another two winning tickets worth $10,000 each were sold in the March 13 Mega Millions drawing.
One of the winning Powerball tickets was sold at the Publix at 4279 Roswell Road in Atlanta, and the other two were sold in Conyers at the Milstead Food Mart at 1293 Milstead Avenue and the BP Food Mart at 607 Sigman Road.
The winning numbers for the Powerball tickets were 43-44-54-61-69. The Powerball was 22. All three Powerball winners claimed their prizes.
Meanwhile, the Mega Millions tickets were sold in Atlanta and Buford, at the Pharr Food & Gas at 345 Pharr Road and the Hamilton Mill Chevron at 2800 Hamilton Mill Road. Neither winner has claimed their winnings.
The winning numbers for the Mega Millions were 6-30-58-60-61 and the Mega Ball was 17. Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
