FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Officials say a man who had been opening packages from around Forsyth County has been arrested.
Back on Jan. 3, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office requested help identifying a man believed to have opened mail and other packages from more than a dozen locations around the county and ditched them in a dumpster on Melody Mizer Lane.
One of the victims described him as a skinny, tall, white male who reportedly spoke with a lisp.
After getting several leads through Facebook, Sheriff's officials say they were able to pinpoint a suspect, who they identified as 20-year-old Alexander Whitehead of Cumming, Georgia.
Authorities arrested him on 13 counts of theft by taking mail.
