FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Police have made an arrest in a shooting at a bounce house party that left two children and one adult injured.

The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. April 20 on Buckhurst Drive. Witnesses and police confirmed that there was a birthday party was happening at a the home. Children were said to be playing in a bounce house when gunshots rang out.

A 3-year-old shot was transported to the hospital. Another child and an adult were also injured.

Before leaving the scene of the accident, detectives were able to recover a vehicle thought to be abandoned by a suspect.

Authorities obtained arrest warrants for 23-year-old Demetrius Gordon. On Monday, Gordon was arrested at his home without incident.

Gordon is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
