RIVERDALE, Ga. -- Clayton County authorities are concerned for the safety of a man who went missing on Tuesday and hope the public can help find him.

The Clayton County Police Department said in a media release on Wednesday that 31-year-old Christopher Givens had not been seen since about 7 p.m. that day in Riverdale, Ga. Police said he was at a group home in the 1900 block of Westley Drive. They added that he has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and psychosis and may be without his medication.

Givens is described as a black male who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 170 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Authorities aren't sure what he was wearing when he went missing. Anyone who has information on Givens's location is asked to call 911 or Detective K. Green at 770-477-3659.
