Armed robber fakes sickness, steals cash

Police are searching for the suspect and are asking for the public's help with identifying him.

Police are searching for a man who pretended to be sick and then proceeded to rob two separate businesses.

The Gwinnett County Police Robbery Unit is asking for the public's help with identifying a suspect who enters businesses with a napkin or a cloth over his nose and mouth, tells employees that he is sick and then robs the business at gunpoint.

The first incident happened at a cell phone store located at 4002 Stone Mountain Hwy in unincorporated Snellville on February 22. The second incident took place at another cell phone store located at 5345 Jimmy Carter Boulevard in unincorporated Norcross on February 28.

Police described the suspect as a black male, 5'11" to 6'02" tall, 18-27 years old, with a deep voice and yellowing eyes.
