KENNESAW, Ga. -- The "Scruffy Faced Bandit" has struck again, this time at a Chase Bank located at 4490 Wade Green Road in Kennesaw, Ga.

At around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, a white male entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. Witnesses told investigators the suspect fled the scene on a bicycle that might have been burgundy.

The suspect is described as a white male with a scruffy facial beard, hence the name, wearing a long-sleeved shirt, dark colored pants, sunglasses and a dark colored baseball cap.

Acting Special Agent in Charge (A/SAC) George Crouch of FBI Atlanta is teaming up with Roswell Police Chief Rusty Grant, Cobb Co. Police Chief John R. Houser and Cherokee Co. Sheriff Roger Garrison to help capture the Scruffy Faced Bandit.

He is believed to be responsible for several other robberies that have taken place in nearby neighborhoods due to similar suspect descriptions, mode of escape and how the robbery was executed.

There were five previous robberies in separate locations that are allegedly connected to this one. The first occurred on August 11, 2016 at a SunTrust Bank located in Marietta, Ga. The suspect provided a note to a teller announcing a robbery and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Another robbery occurred on August 19 at a Bank of America located in Roswell, Ga. The suspect gave the teller a demand note and was described as wearing dark clothing and had a scruffy beard or goatee.

On October 4, a suspect provided a demand note to a teller at the SunTrust Bank located in Marietta, Ga. and was seen fleeing the area on a bicycle.

And again, on October 11, a white male described to have a brown mustache and beard, entered the First Citizens Bank located in Woodstock, Ga and handed the teller a demand note announcing a robbery. The suspect was seen leaving the scene on a black mountain bike with red accents and was wearing a long sleeved black Adidas shirt.

And lastly, on October 19, a white male robbed a Regions Bank located in Roswell, Ga. The suspect handed the teller a note announcing a robbery and was described as wearing a black hat and sunglasses.
