BRUNSWICK, Ga. — One person is dead and no officers were injured following an officer-involved shooting in Brunswick Saturday night, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.
The GBI said its agents are working to gather more details regarding the deadly shooting. The agency tweeted about the shooting at 9:08 p.m., saying the Brunswick Police Department requested a response from the GBI.
A spokesperson for the GBI said the agency will work through the night and will provide more information Sunday morning.
