ATLANTA - Atlanta Police are working to track down an alleged bank robber. The crime happened Monday around 3:13 p.m. at the Chase Bank located at 595 Piedmont Ave. NE.

Police said the man handed the teller a handwritten note demanding cash. Once he got it, he left the location without any witnesses seeing which direction he went.

The suspected robber was wearing dark colored pants and a gray long sleeved shirt with vertical black stripes. The shirt also has white horizontal stripes on the sleeves and two front pockets. He was also seen wearing a leopard pattern winter knit hat with green trim and a red colored decorative ball sewn on the top.

He's described as a Hispanic male, with a mustache, stubble beard approximately 26-to-40 years old, medium build and approximately 5’08” – 5’10” in height.
