A spokeswoman for the Escambia County, Fla., Sheriff's Office has confirmed to our sister newspaper in Pensacola that the suspected gunman in Wednesday morning's triple homicide near Birmingham, killed himself in Beulah, Fla.

Authorities said 51-year-old Kenneth Lever killed himself near the Navy Federal Credit Union off of US 90.

Police have identified the three victims of Wednesday morning's shooting at the Peachtree Crossings trailer park in Gardendale, Alabama, just north of Birmingham.

Authorities identified the victims as the gunman's wife, 50-year-old Dana Reeves Lever of Gardendale, 65-year-old Bonnie Reeves Foshee of Fultondale and 69-year-old Don Austin Foshee, also of Fultondale.

Gardendale Police Chief Mike Walker initially identified the suspect as 51-year-old Kenneth Lever of Pensacola, Fla.

The York Daily Record in York, Pennsylvania said Lever was charged in two separate sexual assault cases in 2015. In both of those cases, Lever was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, corruption of minors and distribution of explicit sexual material of a minor.

Wednesday afternoon, police said they had located an SUV that Lever used to leave the area of the shooting, a Lincoln Navigator. They later said Lever was believed to be in a red Nissan Sentra with Georgia tags.

Police in Gardendale, Ala., released an image of the Nissan they believe shooting suspect Kenneth Lever is driving. They said the Nissan has Georgia license plate RGC6858. Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call 911 immediately (Gardendale PD)
