Police: Man leads woman to do drugs, sexually assaults her instead

Police say the victim was alert, conscious and breathing but was "in rough shape".

ATLANTA - Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman after leading her on with the intent to give her drugs.

According to the Atlanta Police overnight commander, Captain Andrew Senzer, the victim, an adult female, was hanging out around the Broad Street area in the city when she met with the man who would become her assailant.

He then lead her to 64 Jackson Street, which is an abandoned lot, under the impression that he would give her drugs.

Once they were there, he allegedly sexually assaulted the victim as well as physically assaulted her. According to police the suspect punched the victim in the face that left her with some bruising and he also choked her.

The victim described the suspect as a black male wearing a dark blue T-shirt, blue jeans, 5'9-5'10 in height with a slim build.

Police say the victim was alert, conscious and breathing but was "in rough shape".
