Police probe credit card theft, fraud

Victim lost her cards in one store, crooks used them in another

Gwinnett police Thursday released surveillance photos and videos of two women suspected of scooping up some lost credit cards in one store, then using them in another.

Police tell 11Alive News that a shopper in the Walmart store on 3795 Buford Drive, Buford, lost her wallet, containing the credit cards, back on Dec. 11. Shortly, thereafter, the victim discovered someone had used the cards in a Kroger at 6001 Cumming Highway, Sugar Hill.

The women believed responsible for committing the credit card fraud were caught on surveillance camera.

One of them was wearing a dark jacket over a blouse. The other was dressed in a light-colored, long-sleeved blouse and was wearing a hat.
