Suspects caught on camera rummaging through several unlocked cars in Gwinnett

According to police, the suspects have been hitting several subdivisions and stealing items of value.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police in Gwinnett County are asking for help identifying and finding suspects in multiple entering automobiles cases.

According to police, early on July 6, the suspects were dropped off by an unknown accomplice and began to check several vehicles in the Prospect Estates subdivision off of Prospect Road near Lawrenceville.

Police said that when they found an unlocked vehicle, the suspects would rummage through it to steal anything they considered to be of value.

Investigators said they believe the same suspects were involved in similar crimes in the Maudlin Lake subdivision, off of Braselton Highway, also near Lawrenceville.

According to police, they believe there are at least three suspects who arrive in a dark SUV.

One of the suspects has been described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s with a thin build. He's wearing a white shirt, black shorts and has a tattoo on his left forearm.

Gwinnett County Police said they believe the suspects were dropped off by someone driving a dark-colored SUV.
