GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities say a SWAT situation has been resolved peacefully after a dispute between neighbors escalated to gunfire.
According to Gwinnett County Police spokesperson Cpl. Michele Pihera, officers were called to a home on Oak Green Drive in Lawrenceville.
According to initial information, police said an argument between the neighbors led to one of them, now identified as Mario Taylor, shooting the other. No one was seriously hurt in the altercation, but SWAT negotiators had to be called to coax Taylor outside after he refused to leave.
Officers were eventually able to resolve the situation and he was taken into custody without trouble.
