Fire crews working to rescue DeKalb employee from manhole

Fire officials confirm that the victim is an employee of the DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management but had few other details.

DeKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- DeKalb County firefighters are on the scene after a water department employee became trapped in a manhole.

The incident happened in the 2400 block of Greenway Drive off of Snapfinger Road - outside the perimeter. Fire officials confirm that the victim is an employee of the DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management but had few other details.
