ATLANTA -- UPDATE: The 12-year-old girl was found. Here's the statement from Atlanta Police:

The child has been located and is currently with investigators who will determine the circumstances around her disappearance. She is not injured and appears to be in good health. The male has not yet been located. The investigation is ongoing.

The 12-yearold girl sent a text message to her aunt on Saturday night. By Sunday morning, she was gone.

"With each day that passes, we grow more and more concerned about her safety," Lt. Andrea Webster said on Wednesday afternoon.

Less than two hours later, police said she had been located. She was believed to be with 32-year-old Armando Aguilar. He has not been located, police said.

The text she sent implied she left on her own will "but we can't confirm that text message," Lt. Webster said.

Authorities issued a felony warrant against Aguilar for Kidnapping on April 17.

"We're following up on leads that they may still be in the area, but those have not panned out," Lt. Webster said. The 12-year-old is said to be around 5'3", weighs 130 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Aguilar has heavy scarring along the right side of his chin and has a tattoo of "Ashley" across the middle of his chest. Above the name are four large stars and below are three large stars.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Aguilar is asked to call police at 404-546-4260.
