Savannah-area Congressman Buddy Carter is holding a town hall Thursday morning.
Last month on an appearance on MSNBC, Carter said "Somebody needs to go over there to that Senate and snatch a know in their ass."
He was talking about the Republican healthcare bill called the "Skinny Repeal"
According to Carter's office, that's an old southern saying meaning someone needs to get their act in gear. How common that saying is remains to be seen.
Carter continued, "It has gotten to the point where, how can you say 'I voted for this last year, but I'm not going to vote for it this year?' This is extremely frustrating for those of us who have put so much into this effort."
