Rescue crews have extricated a hiker who was trapped under a 1,500-pound boulder on North Table Mountain.

Golden Police say the 30-year-old woman suffered multiple fractures. After she was walked to a rope system, she was flown via helicopter to get medical attention.

Rescuers hiked on foot and with an ATV to bring pieces of a hydraulic spreader to be used with airbags to remove boulder from hiker.

Five or six other agencies assisted Golden Fire Department in the rescue.

Golden Fire said on Twitter when she was extradited, the woman was unconscious, but her vitals were good.
