Jennifer Bellamy joined 11Alive in April 2015. A native of the Atlanta area, Jennifer grew up in Gwinnett County and is excited to return home.

Jennifer began her career in Macon, Georgia at 13WMAZ, where she reported, produced and served as a fill-in anchor. While there, she also hosted segments, responding to viewer questions weekly through "Get Answers," and awarding the Golden Spatula to restaurants for cleanliness and reporting on low health inspection scores.

From there, she joined News19 in Columbia, South Carolina where she worked as a general assignment and political reporter and was later promoted to weekend anchor.

Jennifer was also part of the News19 team awarded a 2015 Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Awards for Outstanding Local Television Investigative Reporting. She contributed to the continuing coverage on South Carolina's Department of Social Services after the deaths of children and reports of problems at the state agency. Her work covering the agency also won a South Carolina Broadcasters Association STAR award.

A proud Georgia Bulldog, Jennifer graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Broadcast News and a minor in Spanish.

When she is not reporting, Jennifer loves cheering on the Bulldogs, the Falcons and the Hawks. She enjoys music, reading, movies, and spending time with her family and friends. Jennifer is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a national, non-profit, service sorority.
