$2 million Powerball ticket sold in Stockbridge

The winner has already come forward and claimed their prize.

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — One local lottery player just became a lucky winner!

Powerball officials say a winning ticket for the April 18 drawing worth $2 million was sold at a Stockbridge gas station.

The ticket was purchased at the BP station at 4470 Walt Stephens Road in Stockbridge. The winner has already come forward and claimed their prize.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 9-10-12-17-23, and the Powerball was 9. The wining ticket matched the first five winning numbers and doubled the prize with Power Play.
