ATLANTA - A man with cerebral palsy with the mental capacity of a 7-year-old has been found.

Police said 23-year-old Steffon Vontress was last seen at a house on the 1600 block of Browning Street around 8:00 Monday night. He was reported missing by his grandmother two hours later.

He was found in good health around noon on Tuesday at the intersection of Northside Drive and Martin Luther King Dr. That's about 2.5 miles away.

His older sister, Abrianna Vontress, said this is the first time her brother has walked off in his adulthood. She said the family has been searching for him non-stop.

"I'm relieved. It's really devastating when you have a family member with that kind of condition," she said.

Steffon has the mental capacity of a 7-year old child, is new to the area and walks with slumped shoulders, according to family members. he also suffers from epilepsy.
