CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. -- Authorities in Cherokee County have named a person of interest after a missing woman was found dead on Wednesday.

Police said the body of 58-year-old Karen Twilley was found outside of her home on Pine Circle in Woodstock.

On Wednesday night, police said they were attempting to locate Twilley's 54-year-old brother, Joseph Twilley.

Earlier, police said Twilley shared the home with her 86-year-old mother. Authorities said the mother's car is now missing. The car is described as a blue 2001 Ford Focus station wagon with a blue tennis ball-sized smiley face on the antenna.

Joseph Twilley is said to stand 6'2" tall and weighs around 160 pounds.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911. Authorities warn people to not approach Twilley.
