ATLANTA - Atlanta Police have given an all-clear after investigating a suspicious package in downtown Atlanta.
Police received the call around 10:12 a.m. on Friday alerting them of a suitcase with a wire coming from it at 2 Peachtree Sreet SW.
Businesses in the immediate area were evacuated as a precaution.
Marta spokesperson Eric Burton said the trains were being held at the Five Points Marta station but has since been given the all clear.
Authorities did not say what was in the package.
