CARTERSVILLE, GA -- The FBI and the GBI have joined the search for a missing 27-year-old Cartersville woman.

Police said Heather McDonald was last seen on September 19 at the Courtesy Inn on Highway 411 in Cartersville.

According to a website created to help in the search, the Jeep Wrangler McDonald was driving was found at the motel. The door of the vehicle was unlocked and the key was reportedly found on the ground nearby with some personal belongings still inside.

The website also states that K-9 units searched Aubrey Lake over the week.

The mother of three is described as being 5-feet-2-inches tall, and weighs about 105 pounds. Police said she was wearing a gray and green exercise outfit when she was last seen.

Anyone with information about McDonald or here whereabouts is asked to call Cartersville Police at 770-607-6227. A $4,000 reward is being offered for information leading to her return.
