Here's where a $1M Powerball ticket was sold in Cumming

CUMMING, Ga. -- Someone who lives, or at least visited, Cumming, Georgia is now $1 million richer.

According to the Georgia Lottery, a Powerball ticket matching five numbers (missing the Powerball itself) of the Aug. 11 drawing was sold at the Publix located at 5475 Bethelview Rd.

The winner has not come forward yet. The numbers were 5-43-56-62-68 and the Powerball was 24.

One lucky person in New York matched all six numbers to win the $245 million jackpot.

Powerball winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes. That means this winner has until Tuesday, Nov. 19. The next Powerball drawing will be Wednesday. That jackpot is $40 million.
