Police are looking for three juveniles who tried to rob an 11-year-old boy on Wednesday afternoon.

The attack happened at Gordon and Third avenues in Decatur's Oakhurst community around 3:30 pm.

The boy told police he had been sledding in the area of 4/5th Academy when he saw three juvenile males standing on the sidewalk. As he stepped into the roadway and tried to walk past them, he was grabbed, slammed to the ground and dragged back onto the sidewalk.

  • Suspect #2: White male, about 12-13 years of age, wearing a brown coat and holding an orange sled.
  • Suspect #3: White male, about 12-13 years of age.
