New details have emerged about a DeKalb County festival held Sunday that raised concern with some as to who was paying for it.
On Friday, 11Alive looked into the “2016 Good Day Festival” being planned by DeKalb County Commissioner Sharon Barnes Sutton.
There were questions about whether it would live up to the billing and if taxpayers were footing the bill.
On Sunday, the commissioner answered those questions.
“No public financing – he’s doing this all with funding from sponsors and supporters and we have business people supporting him,” DeKalb Commissioner Sharon Barnes Sutton said. “People volunteering their time; entertainment groups volunteering their time.”
As for whether renowned local rapper "B.o.B" would make an appearance, he did – and performed for the crowd.
