LOGANVILLE, Ga. -- A woman who allegedly pointed a gun at deputies was fatally shot by police outside of a home in Walton County.
Deputies received a call around 10:30 a.m. Thursday about a domestic dispute at a residence. A woman threatened her elderly mom and brother and said she was going to kill them, according to Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The shooting happened on Escoe Drive. SkyTracker11 was over the scene of a cul-de-sac near the intersection of Rosebud Road and Georgia 20. Footage shows a red jeep, a gray SUV, and several police cars.
When deputies arrived outside of the home, they saw an armed woman in a basement door carrying two guns.
She was told to drop her weapons and did not comply with deputies. After allegedly pointing a gun at two deputies, the woman was shot several times in the upper chest and later died, police said.
