An Atlanta Police officer and two prisoners were trapped in their cruiser after a crash Friday morning. The crash happened on Marietta Street, near Broad Street NW.
Kim Jones, APD public information officer, said it is not clear if there were injuries. Everyone was transported to Grady Hospital alert, conscious and breathing.
Police said the cruiser collided with a taxi after the taxi made a left turn.

"The officer and the prisoners were trapped in the patrol car for a brief moment due to the way the vehicle was struck. They were freed by the Jaws of Life with AFR (Atlanta Fire and Rescue)," Jones said in a release.
