Easter event organized by Quavo of the Migos brings huge crowd to Berkmar High

ATLANTA - Easter in Atlanta wasn't complete without a high-profile event put together by the rap group, the Migos.

As their way of giving back to the community, Huncho Day, organized by Migos member Quavo, brought out a huge crowd at Berkmar High School. And he invited his A-list friends to come out and attend a flag football game.

Quavo decided that he wanted to celebrate his birthday with the community that helped raise him in Gwinnett.

“It feels good," he said. "It’s overwhelming. To see all the people that’s from the surrounding area. Came from the same side I came from.”

The field was packed with athletes like Julio Jones, Todd Gurley and many hip-hop artists like Offset, Takeoff, Lil Yatchy, 21 Savage, and YFN Lucci. Even if you don’t follow the genre, you could feel the love the community has for them.

All of this possible because of Quavo, who attended Berkmar High.

"He’s the only person that can get a bunch of guys and come out of nowhere and show up one day," said Gurley. "So for him to do that is incredible.”
